Indemnity Form

Prior to the tour, each participant is required to sign an indemnity form. It is essential to inform the participants about this requirement.

Insurance

For insurance purposes, we need a list of participants' names, ages, genders, and nationalities. Please provide this information through the online reservation form, and ensure it is emailed to us along with your ORDER ID as a reference. Rest assured that all information provided will be treated as strictly private and confidential by Traverse Tours Sdn. Bhd.

Claim Notification: In the event of an accident causing accidental bodily injury, guests should submit written notice to the INSURANCE COMPANY within 30 days of the accident to initiate a claim.

Group Personal Accident Policy: The maximum claimable amount for medical expenses is RM 1,000.00 (Malaysian Ringgit One Thousand Only).

Fitness Level

Only individuals who are physically fit, regardless of age, are allowed to participate in rafting. However, even if a child meets the fitness level, they may be disallowed from rafting at our absolute discretion.

Refund

No refund will be provided for accommodation, meals, transportation, or any other services included in the tour fare but not utilized. The refundable amount cannot be exchanged for other items or equivalents.

Cancellation

To avoid any misunderstanding, cancellation must be made in writing and acknowledged by our company's reservation personnel. The following cancellation fees will be imposed:

i) Cancellation made 1 day prior to departure: 50% of the total amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
ii) No show: 100% of the full amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.

Cancellation or Postponement of Tour by Traverse Tours Sdn Bhd

In the event of unforeseen circumstances that make it impossible or inadvisable to conduct the tour or deliver the services as described in the itinerary, we reserve the right to change or postpone the tour at our absolute discretion. In such cases, no recourse or claims can be made against us.

REMINDER

Most of the tours we offer are conducted in remote or wilderness areas, where events may be less predictable. The unexpected is a norm in these environments. Despite meticulous organization, unforeseen situations may arise. There is an inherent element of risk involved as we interact with natural elements. Some locations may lack the same quality of emergency, health, and safety services as urban areas due to limited communication services. Road travel may be uncomfortable and occasionally unreliable. Therefore, it should be understood that the planned itineraries are statements of intent rather than contractual obligations. Weather conditions, transport difficulties, and political instability may necessitate amendments to the itineraries. The land agent or trip leader will make necessary changes with or without consulting the participants. Traverse Tours Sdn Bhd will make every effort to minimize the impact of such enforced changes. However, we cannot be held responsible for the outcomes of changes or delays, regardless of their causes. We strongly recommend that only physically fit individuals who are properly equipped and aware of the risks participate in the tours.
